This Week at New Hope

Dear New Hope Family,

I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend although it may have looked quite different this year.  It is so good to know that our joy in the resurrection is not based on circumstances.

I have been reflecting on a passage on 1 Peter 1 where it says

…he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled and unfading, kept in heaven for you…

Wow.  God has kept something for us for the future so beyond our wildest imaginations.

This Sunday in our online service I will start a new sermon series going through the book of 1 Peter.  There is so much packed into that letter that Peter wrote that is so relevant to us.  I am really enjoying studying it and thinking about how practical in is to all of us living today.

Also you will find on our church website https://new-hope.ca/ a circle on the front page called “20/20 Vision”.  It is a four-week video series that Greg Reimer taped that we did a couple of months ago on Wednesday evenings.  We are unable to meet in small groups right now – but maybe you would like to revisit that learning experience again or for the first time.
