True worship celebrates who God is and what He has done

At New Hope, worship is more than attending a service—it’s a way of life. We believe true worship celebrates who God is and what He has done, and it calls us to respond with all that we are. Worship flows from a life-changing relationship with God and invites us to offer our hearts, voices, and lives back to Him in gratitude and praise.

Our corporate worship gatherings on Sunday mornings are a meaningful expression of this shared devotion. Worship is not limited to those leading from the front; it includes everyone who prepares the space, serves behind the scenes, shares Scripture, creates visually, teaches, prays, and gathers together as God’s people. When we all come ready to participate, worship becomes a powerful, Spirit-filled experience.

Corporate worship is deeply important to the body of Christ. It is a time to remember who God is, reflect on His faithfulness, and celebrate how His love continues to transform our lives. As we sing and praise together, we minister to the heart of God while being ministered to by Him.

Scripture reminds us that God is “enthroned on the praises of His people” (Psalm 22:3), choosing to dwell among us as we lift His name. It also tells us that we are being built together as God’s dwelling place through His Spirit (Ephesians 2:21–22). When we gather and offer a sacrifice of praise—openly professing the name of Jesus (Hebrews 13:15)—God is present.
