Share. Study. Encourage.
New Hope Church Small Groups
Life is better when we don’t do it alone. At New Hope Church, Small Groups are where faith becomes personal, friendships grow deeper, and people find a place to truly belong.
Small Groups are gatherings of people who meet regularly to share life, study the Bible, pray together, and encourage one another as we follow Jesus. Some groups meet at the church, while others gather in homes throughout the North Delta area. Wherever they meet, the heart is the same: growing together in faith and community.
Why Small Groups Matter
Small Groups are the heartbeat of our church. They are where meaningful relationships are formed, spiritual growth is nurtured, and care happens in a personal way. We believe that meeting regularly in smaller settings creates space for authentic connection, encouragement, and life change. Our hope is that everyone at New Hope finds a Small Group to call home.
What Is a Small Group?
A Small Group is made up of 8–14 people who meet weekly or bi-weekly for about 1.5–2 hours. Each group is led by a trained leader and host and usually includes light refreshments. More than just a meeting, Small Groups are a safe and welcoming place to ask questions, share stories, pray for one another, and grow in your walk with God.
What You’ll Experience in a Small Group
Our Small Groups are shaped by seven key values that help create healthy, life-giving community:
- Caring Leadership that shepherds the group and keeps Christ at the center
- Scripture that grounds us in God’s truth
- Prayer that draws us closer to God and one another
- Authentic Sharing that builds trust and support
- Celebration of God’s faithfulness and life’s victories
- Reaching out Beyond the Group to reflect Jesus’ love in our community
- Drawing In & Welcoming New Members so others can experience belonging and growth
